The restaurant and cafe is an integral part of the Awaroa experience. Savour the smell of freshly baked breads from our bakers oven. Enjoy the freshness of our seasonal vegetables and herbs handpicked from our organic garden and delivered to your table.

The Lodge's abundant organic garden has a major influence on the menu. Catch the chef picking seasonal greens, vine ripened tomatoes and seasonal herbs daily. Where possible organic produce and breads are sourced for your health and pleasure. The cafe and restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving both inhouse guests and walkers on the Abel Tasman Coastal Track. A breakfast of crusty homemade breads, muesli and roasted coffee ignites the day, followed by light snacks and all-day dining at the cafe. Evening brings vibrant, fresh flavours and organic greens, served with sensational seasonal produce and seafood... from big eyed tuna, steamed New Zealand cams, chargrilled scallops... marinated swordfish and salmon filet... to beef, lamb and chicken.

Our remote location means we are subject to considerable costs not normally associated with other businesses. This may be reflected somewhat in the prices of food and beverage in our restaurant. We ask for your understanding in the fact that this is merely a reflection of the isolation and difficulties of providing the best service that we can to our guests
